On 24th November, the “Vodafone Ecosystem 2015” meeting was held in the Istanbul Conrad Hotel. All Vodafone shareholders and salesmen were present and around 500 suppliers attended.
At the end of the meeting, Mallikarjun Rao, Chief Information Officer of Vodafone presented several awards to thank suppliers for their work in their different activities. The award in the category of “best delivery time” went to HMY Teknogon in recognition for their work on the Spring Project.
This is the second time that Vodafone has given HMY a reward for its services in this project. Last year, they received the ‘2014 supplier of the year’ prize in the Vodafone Supplier Awards, the annual meeting that the company holds to award suppliers’ and partners’ work.
Vodafone is one of the biggest telecommunication companies and provides a range of services that include voice, messages and fixed network. HMY has worked with Vodafone on an international scale to develop and implement a new concept for retail shops.
The new shop concept is part of a brand positioning plan to communicate the same solid and coherent image all around the world. HMY has helped to implement this plan in Spain, UK, Germany, Greece, Holland, Romania, Albania, Qatar, Portugal and Turkey.
The HMY Group has a production, commercial and service structure for retail on an international level, which allows global distribution of furniture with homologated performances, identical conditions and with added value due to the local treatment in each market.

Spring Project
The Vodafone Spring Project is their organic investment project that allows the company to accelerate and extend their strategic priorities through the investment in mobile and fix networks, product and services and their retail platform. Announced together with the Vodafone Verizon transaction in September 2013, the Spring project is reinforcing the differentiation between Vodafone networks and services. The 4G transition and unified communications together with a better European economic perspective bring Vodafone to believe that they have a unique opportunity to invest now. Vodafone’s total investment, including the Spring Project, will be approximately £19 billion in the coming two years.
