On 10th December, the 2014 Vodafone Supplier Awards took place and the ‘supplier of the year’ award was presented to HMY, in recognition of their work on Project Spring.
Vodafone is one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies and provides a range of services including voice, messaging, data and fixed communications It holds an annual awards to recognise the work of suppliers and partners.
HMY has worked with Vodafone internationally to develop and implement a new design concept for retail stores.
Detlef Schultz, Vodafone Group Supply Chain Director & Vodafone Procurement Company Chief Executive Officer, presented the award to the HMY representatives – CEO and President of the HMY Group, Ignacio Marín Villamayor, and Key Account Manager for the Vodafone project in HMY, Sergio Muñío Sánchez.
The new store concept is part of a global Vodafone brand positioning plan to communicate the same solid and coherent image all around the world. HMY has helped to implement this plan in Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Holland, Romania, Albania, Qatar, Portugal and Turkey.
The HMY Group has a production, commercial and retail services structure at an international level that allows global furniture distribution with identical homologated performances and conditions and has added value due to the customised local treatment in each market.
