With the formal signature of the agreement between HMY and T-ZIR (TorreVillage – Zaragoza’s Innovation in Retail Centre) the international leader in commercial equipment, HMY, is incorporated into the project as a strategic partner, joining Intel, Microsoft and Telefonica.
T-ZIR is a centre of innovation applied to the retail sector based in Zaragoza (Spain) and with international projection. Zaragoza’s Innovation in Retail Centre was created with the aim of anticipating, creating and giving solutions for the customers of the future’s needs in an enterprise environment, with the support of each one of its strategic partners.
The incorporation of HMY is especially relevant because it provides the capacity to produce and scale the innovative solutions related to shop fitting that emerge from the innovation centre. HMY is the leading global provider of integrated retail solutions, managing 15 production units worldwide, present in more than 160 countries and with more than 90 commercial offices to offer its value proposals to brands and retailers.
HMY President, Ignacio Marín Villamayor, and Iberebro Group President, Alfonso Solans, signatories of the collaboration agreement, have emphasized the importance of joining forces to keep driving innovation and retail digitisation.
In its first year of operation T-ZIR has launched the first European Retail Accelerator in which, Aragonese startups work in partnership with established businesses to develop important innovative projects with strategic partners, who promote these projects, which have a clear international scope.
