At HMY we continually commit ourselves to sustainability whether that be environmental, social or in terms of the total satisfaction of our clients thanks to our quality standards. One example of this are the certifications that we obtain which provide assurance and security to all our clients.
Recently, we told you about the triple certification that we obtained at HMY’s factory in France, in which we were awarded the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates. Our factory has been certified for some time with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EMAS and OHSAS 18001, which require an annual audit in order to be valid. This is of the utmost importance to HMY, not only as a way to keep up the certifications we have obtained, but also because it shows our transparency and commitment to sustainability.
But these are not the only certifications we have. In terms of the environment, HMY’s factory in Zaragoza has also earned FSC and PEFC international certifications, which guarantee that the wood we use comes from sustainably managed forests.
However, most recently, and the reason that these facilities are again being highlighted for their leadership in social commitment, was HMY’s registration on the Sedex online platform and the SMETA auditing process, used by brands and retailers that are Sedex members in order to ensure Corporate Social Responsibility and to demonstrate each of their ethical and responsible business practices.
A Global and Increasingly Strong Commitment
HMY’s innovative spirit compels us not only to have these certifications and connections with responsible practices, but also to keep these up and to expand them in the future.
At HMY we believe that these certifications show our clients that we fully comply with all the legal regulations and that we maintain a connection with ethical and responsible business practices. But we also strongly consider these to be a way to achieve excellence in our services and in the quality of the work we do.
Without a business vision that is committed to sustainability, it is impossible to put efficient innovations into practice, both for company growth and client satisfaction.
